Why isn’t this in an app store?

Little and Big are progressive web apps (PWAs). Your browser installs them directly from their websites. Install from little.yolo.school and big.yolo.school, rather than this information page.

I don’t see an install option.

Open the app’s address in a regular Safari, Chrome, or Edge window, rather than a private tab or an in-app browser. It may already be installed—check your Home Screen or app launcher. If your school manages the device, its settings may block installation. You can also use the apps in supported browsers without installing.

Little can’t scan Big’s code.

Allow Little to use your camera in your browser or device settings. Or on Big, open “Can’t scan? Copy the pairing link.” Send that link to your phone and paste it into “Can’t scan? Paste a link” in Little. Pairing links expire with the QR code, so use a fresh one.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes. Sign-in and connecting your devices need internet access. Installing the apps doesn’t make those features work offline.
